Martha Oatway

Exploration of the forest and nature is a major theme in Martha Oatway’s monoprints.  Some of her recent work uses Mylar as the print paper rather than traditional printmaking papers.  The archival frosted Mylar allows her to print on both sides of the "paper" which creates muted and vibrant colors as you look through one surface into another.  Her work is included in the collections of Georgetown University, Capital One, Booz Allen Hamilton, Science and Technology Policy Institute, and Bates College Museum of Art.
